Petite chateau is positioned just off the main coast road between carcassonne and narbonne with plenty of parking space to the front and back of the house. From the house it is a short walk from a well stocked supermarket a bar , bakers post office and the main mairie square. There is a newsagent, pharmacy two restaurants and a sandwich cafe. For anyone who likes wine there are a couple of wine caves in the village. Capendu has its own public indoor swimming pool. Into the house that has been newly renovated and completely refurbished throughout, combining some of the old original features such as the front entrance doors, windows and shutters and vaulted downstairs ceilings. There are ten golf courses within ninety minutes the nearest being carcassonne golf just fifteen minutes away.
